Happiness Equals Skinny!

So since we've begun filming and since I've been doing more of the things I love, I feel useful. I feel like I'm on top of the world and I feel like I'm living my dreams. This is why the weight has been coming off! My body is going through that 'shift' right before the fat starts melting.

If you are not doing what you love, and always have said 'someday'. Make today that someday and go out there and make those first steps. You will be healthier inside and out. The world needs you!

Six Skinny Foods: Exercise and Dieting Gap




We have all had this happen and said to ourselves: 'I'm working out and I've gained two pounds. How is this possible?' It is so discouraging when you get on the scale to see all your hard work hasn't paid off.

According to MSN Health, you are still gaining benefits even if you are not seeing it on the scale yet. You are gaining LEAN muscle mass-much better than dimply hangovers.

Remember, look at how long it took you to gain your weight and realize that you'll lose it over time-and usually in a shorter time than you took to gain it! This is more than fair!

Body Shapes-I'm a Gynaeoid. How about you?

In my quest for getting fit and fabulous like Tyra Banks has done, I have been searching for answers and information. I found some good ideas about weight control from weightcontroldoctor.com about body shapes. It seems that I am a Gynaeoid body type and retain toxins as well as gaining weight on the lower half. This makes me a candidate for the dreaded cellulite. UGH! Double UGH!

So, I have ALMOST eliminated all processed foods from my diet. This means brown rice, legumes, fruits, veggies and leans meats in fish with no breadings. I also did a semi fast last weekend where I ate fruits and veggies all day. I felt FABULOUS the next day and by day four I dropped two more pounds.

I should also add that I've been using the steam shower to help rid of toxins. I don't sweat. That doesn't mean I don't work out hard-I just turn red and sweat very little. So a little steam will help my cellulite. I also learned that a good aloe vera will do the trick.
