And Here we have it...Sound in the Angelic Choir--the Book That is really changing my life. It's Called 'One Year To An Organized Life' and it's written by Regina Leeds.
Currently, I am two months in which happens to be February but it's designed that your January can be whenever you begin the book.
I am thoroughly excited about my attitude adjustment-approaching organizing as more of something that suits me and not fitting into some 'bubble' or perfect ideal of what an organized person is. See, I'm an actress. I can get into character for a few weeks but then fall short when I actually have to 'become' the organized person.
So, one and a half months later I've accomplished the following:
First Month: Kitchen
1) My kitchen is completely organized--I mean even in cabinets!
2) My counter top is almost always clear of clutter
3) My girls and I have a three bin sorter that houses our important papers.
Second Month: Bedroom
1) I removed furniture that was taking too much space in my bedroom
2) Purged about three large trash bags full of 'stuff' that is no longer suiting us
More to Follow!
My new attitude is spilling off into other areas of my life:
1) I am planning my day and organizing my time better
2) I am no longer wanting to be the procrastinator and actually enjoy planning ahead of time
3) I am saying 'No' more often to things I don't want to do and/or don't fit in with my priorities
4) I am slowly finding more time to do the things I love and want to do
5) Attitude is at least 50% better towards Housework and Organization
6) My organized kitchen cut down my time by having to 'find' things. It's completely set up for the way I like to do things and not the way 'I think it should be.'
I am done living the way I think I should and headed toward living the way I want to.
Obviously, I highly recommend this book. I got mine on Amazon.
I'll post more updates soon!!

I need this--thanks for posting!
I'm always saying how if only I could get it together, my life would be so much better. Thanks for the inspiration. I love all your posts and your blog!
I don't need a book to help me but I'm glad you found something to help you
Sounds interesting. This post makes me want to clean & that never happens. ha ha
Looking forward to hearing more! keep up the great posts. :)
I agree with the poster who said it's motivating me to clean. I love your blog posts!!!
How cool is that? I'm kind of jealous. ha ha ha
You are someone who I always say, how does she do it all? Good for you for taking control of the reigns in your life. I did that about two years ago and I've been better off for it.
Keep up the great work!
